Human Factors Engineering
The largest group of its kind at any university in Israel, Human Factors Engineering at Ben-Gurion University is a multi-disciplinary team with researchers and students bringing expertise from an array of backgrounds including engineering, psychology, information sciences, physiology, and statistics to break new ground in the discipline.
Most of the research is enhanced by the involvement of an outstanding faculty.
Advanced laboratory facilities for human factors engineering research include:
- Tracking of eye movements
- Virtual environment immersive laboratory
- Driving simulation laboratory
- Human-computer interaction laboratory
- Cognitive engineering laboratory
The university has recently invested more than $500,000 to improve the Human Factors research facility and build a new laboratory complex, which houses the most unique driving research laboratory in Israel.
